- Hands -

The above pieces represented the time after my grandma get Alzheimer’s disease. The sickness made her became very different from my impression which in the past she was always the one to take care me but after she was sick, I became the one who take care of her which cause really big difference. Such difference become my inspiration which I use the pose of holding hands to represent. The hands at higher position are the one to take care people while the lower are the one being cared. The different sizes of hands show the different period of time which I become the one to take care grandma after I have grown up. At first I want use two hands to represent her too but I found that the continuity will be better if I use the same hand. I took photos in some places we usually went to and trying capture the scene in my memory.
